MERCOPACT / OPEN RESEARCH SAMPLE / 12 OCTOBER 2026

Company / trade-association sources1. Commercial hypothesis
Bangladesh has an established packaging-and-accessories manufacturing ecosystem. The Bangladesh Packaging & Accessories Manufacturers & Exporters Association states that it represents approximately 2,100 industries, with reported FY2024–25 direct and deemed exports totaling roughly US$7.48 billion. These sector numbers describe industry activity, not equipment orders available to MERCOPACT. Association source.
The initial hypothesis is that companies visibly involved in printed labels, stickers, cartons, or flexible packaging may be appropriate accounts for product-specific research. Suitability for any actual machine depends on its method, substrates, throughput, compatible production line, after-sales support, and the manufacturer's capital expenditure plans.
2. Candidate organizations and what is actually known
| Organization | Documented public facts | Conditional equipment-fit hypothesis | Evidence / status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premiaflex Plastics Ltd. (ACI PLC) | ACI documents flexible-packaging production in Gazipur with rotogravure technology, 5-layer film machinery, lamination extrusion and printing equipment. | Relevant to specialized flexible-packaging converting technology, but existing equipment may already cover requirements. New machine need must be proven before contact. | ACI facility page Manufacturing fit plausible; procurement unknown |
| Asian Printing & Packaging Ltd. | The association lists poly bags, sticker paper, self-adhesive labels, label stock, cartons, tags and related packaging products; member page indicates active status. | Possible fit for adhesive-label converting, finishing, or industrial printing equipment if technical requirements are confirmed. | BPAMEA member record Product fit plausible; procurement unknown |
| Label Makers Ltd. | The association lists printed labels, woven size tags, tapes, stickers, PVC bags and related apparel-packaging products; member record indicates active status. | Potential research account for appropriate label-making or finishing machinery, subject to precise substrate and process needs. | BPAMEA member record Requires technology verification |
| NRG Printing & Packaging | The association lists label printing, barcodes, hang tags, stickers, boards and cartons; member record indicates active status. | Candidate for print-finishing or converting-equipment research, but machine type and purchasing plans are not known. | BPAMEA member record Requires equipment-fit review |
| J C Printing & Packaging | The association lists cartons, labels, backboards and hang tags; member record indicates active status. | Possible print/packaging production account; suitability depends on whether the supplier sells equipment for those processes. | BPAMEA member record Requires verification of technology and interest |
3. What is not yet known
None of these organizations has been verified to have an active RFQ, approved equipment budget, current machinery replacement plan, or import project.
A listed executive is not automatically the appropriate equipment buyer. Procurement, plant engineering and production leadership must be mapped ethically and verified.
Printing method, substrate, material width, number of colors, speed, footprint, utilities, maintenance and local service must be assessed with the equipment supplier.
Check incumbent manufacturers' agents, exclusive dealer agreements, after-sales obligations and import/compliance requirements before a proposal is made.
4. The qualification gates before outreach
Gate A — Supplier ready: verified product datasheet, sales territory, price parameters, lead time, warranty and technical support. Gate B — Account appropriate: documented product/process fit; no conflicts or opt-out flags. Gate C — Contact valid: verified business role and lawful permission to communicate. Gate D — Buyer interest: classify only expressed, attributable requirements as real interest. Gate E — Commercial handoff: the manufacturer's team approves all technical claims, quotations and next-step commitments.
5. What a real paid engagement adds
A real pilot tailors this process to the client's exact product and selected market, verifies a broader company shortlist, assesses relevant decision roles, runs client-approved personalized outreach, records responses, and produces an auditable follow-up register. The deliverable is an evidence-backed opportunity-development process, not a guarantee of meetings, signed distributors, RFQs, orders, or revenue.
