Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MERCOPACT handles information submitted through mercopact.com. The website is a static site and does not require a user account.

Information you provide

If you contact MERCOPACT or submit an enquiry, you may provide your name, company, role, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, information about your company, target buyers, target markets and other commercial context you choose to share.

How information may be used

  • To respond to enquiries and assess whether a market-development conversation is relevant.
  • To communicate about requested services, proposals or follow-up.
  • To improve website content and understand aggregate website usage through Microsoft Clarity.

Forms and enquiry delivery

Our site is hosted on GitHub Pages. The contact and buyer-assessment forms are configured to submit through FormSubmit.co, a third-party form processor, which routes form responses to MERCOPACT's business inbox after its recipient confirms activation. Form data may be stored by FormSubmit for up to 30 days according to its published documentation; its terms and privacy practices also apply. A technical error or unactivated inbox may prevent successful delivery; users can contact us directly by email or WhatsApp. Where an online submission cannot be confirmed, a visitor may deliberately continue with a prefilled message using WhatsApp or their email application; MERCOPACT does not transmit that fallback message automatically. We do not claim submissions are logged in a CRM or guarantee delivery until a real end-to-end inbox test succeeds.

Free-sample request form

The free-sample form on our home and pilot pages does not send your details to a server. When you press the button, it opens WhatsApp with the details you typed (name, company, work email, product, MOQ, monthly capacity, certifications and target market) already filled in. We use these details to prepare your 10 sample buyer companies and arrange the 20-minute call where we walk you through them. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply to that message.

Analytics and advertising

Links may contain source or campaign labels (such as UTM parameters) used only to preserve context through our own website. When you prepare an enquiry, these labels may be included in the message you choose to send. They are not proof that we operate a live analytics or advertising tracking system.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this website, through aggregated usage data, heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies to collect data such as pages visited, clicks, scrolling and device and browser information. Text typed into forms is masked by default. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Meta Pixel, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager are not enabled.

Third-party links

The site may link to external services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn and Unsplash. Their own privacy practices apply when you visit them.
